Sr. Accountant

Robert Half is looking for a senior accountant for a growing Cincinnati based company. The senior accountant plays a key part in month-end close, general ledger accuracy, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Key Responsibilities

• Account reconciliations / variance analysis
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and journal entries
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Support internal and external audits
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (AP, AR, Payroll, Operations)
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, including work in a senior-level or progressively responsible accounting role.
• Hands-on experience with month-end close activities and general ledger management.
• Strong background in preparing journal entries and performing account reconciliations.
• Experience completing bank reconciliations and researching discrepancies.
• Ability to analyze financial results, identify variances, and communicate findings clearly.
• Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and audit support processes.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to collaborate across departments.
