Senior Linux /GPU Infrastructure Implementation Consultant

We are looking for an experienced Senior Linux /GPU Infrastructure Implementation Consultant to lead complex infrastructure delivery efforts in Houston, Texas. This Contract position is ideal for someone who is detail oriented and can coordinate technical execution, guide engineering priorities, and keep implementation work aligned with timeline, budget, and quality expectations. The role combines project leadership with hands-on infrastructure oversight in a high-impact environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and drive a comprehensive rollout strategy for Linux and GPU infrastructure initiatives, ensuring milestones and dependencies are clearly defined.
• Coordinate resource planning across engineering and project teams so that technical work is properly staffed and executed on schedule.
• Oversee implementation activities from planning through deployment, maintaining alignment with business goals and operational requirements.
• Monitor budget-related considerations and support financial tracking to help maintain project control throughout the engagement.
• Establish and enforce quality checkpoints to confirm deliverables meet technical standards and performance expectations.
• Partner with engineering stakeholders to resolve delivery risks, remove blockers, and maintain momentum across project phases.
• Provide status updates, implementation reporting, and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Support infrastructure-related process changes or system updates as part of the implementation scope when required.
• Proven experience leading Linux infrastructure implementation projects in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of GPU-enabled infrastructure and the operational needs associated with high-performance computing platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to create rollout plans, manage competing priorities, and coordinate cross-functional resources effectively.
• Experience with project financial oversight, including budget awareness and delivery tracking.
• Solid knowledge of quality control practices within infrastructure or engineering-driven programs.
• Ability to work closely with engineering teams and translate technical requirements into executable project plans.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in a consulting or client-facing setting.
