Hedge Fund Senior Fund Accountant | San Francisco; Hybrid - 1 Day Onsite

Join a specialized outsourced CFO firm supporting hedge funds, private equity, venture capital, and private credit. Gain broad exposure to sophisticated investment strategies, fund structures, and multiple clients while working closely with investment professionals. Great opportunity to deepen your hedge fund experience in a flexible, very hybrid environment with strong PTO and long-term stability.

Responsibilities

• Support accounting and operations across alternative investment clients
• Reconcile investment activity, including equities, options, FX, and derivatives
• Support NAVs, investor allocations, waterfalls, and capital activity
• Prepare performance and risk reporting
• Support valuations, treasury, expenses, audits, and tax
• Partner with portfolio managers, counterparties, and service providers
• Assist with special projects and process improvements

• 3–5+ years of hedge fund accounting experience
• Fund accounting, alternatives, fund administration, audit, or tax experience
• Strong GAAP, Excel, analytical, and communication skills
• Client-facing experience preferred
• Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
