Senior Accountant

Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join a growing organization and play a key role in the day-to-day accounting operations across multiple entities. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with finance leadership, contribute to process improvements, and support accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
• Maintain and analyze general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Support cash management, banking activities, and account analysis.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysis.
• Partner with operational leaders to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
• Assist with audit preparation and coordination with external accountants.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and strengthen internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and general ledger accounting.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working within ERP/accounting systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
