With a strong commitment to inclusive, culturally responsive care, this organization works to improve health outcomes and enhance the well-being of individuals and families from diverse backgrounds.

Our client is looking for a Senior Accountant to play a key role in supporting the organization’s financial operations - overseeing purchasing, accounts payable, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. Key Responsibilities:

· Accounts Payable & Purchasing: Oversee invoice processing, vendor communications, purchasing documentation, payment preparation, and corporate credit card administration. · General Accounting & Reconciliations: Maintain bank reconciliations, balance sheet schedules, accounts payable records, and journal entries while supporting month-end close activities and investigating discrepancies. · Grants, Contracts & Budgeting: Track financial activity across government contracts and private grants, monitor spending against approved budgets, prepare financial reports and reimbursement requests, and coordinate budget adjustments with internal stakeholders. · Cash Management & Banking: Monitor cash balances, reconcile receipts and deposits, manage petty cash and transit benefit cards, and ensure transactions are properly recorded and allocated. · Payroll, Benefits & Insurance: Maintain confidential payroll information, coordinate benefits-related reporting and reconciliations, manage insurance documentation, and liaise with brokers and external insurance reviewers. · Compliance & Financial Support: Prepare required financial and regulatory reports, assist with audits and funding agency reviews, maintain supporting documentation, and collaborate with the Controller to strengthen financial procedures.
