THE OPPORTUNITY

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage fund-level accounting activities, including journal entries, general ledger reviews, and account reconciliations.
• Prepare quarterly and annual GAAP financial statements.
• Support treasury activities, including bank account management, capital calls, and distributions.
• Assist with annual audits and tax reporting processes.
• Review property-level financial statements and oversee third-party fund administrators.
• Coordinate with property managers, auditors, tax consultants, and banking partners.
• Maintain investor portal financial information and respond to investor requests.
• Support ongoing process improvements and special projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong general ledger, journal entry, reconciliation, and financial reporting experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial statement preparation.
• Real estate accounting or public accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with MRI or Yardi is a plus.
• CPA or progress toward CPA certification is preferred.
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
