Well established and small Nonprofit organization needs a Senior Accountant to support the CFO. There is career growth with this role.
Job responsibilities include lead month end close, general ledger account reconciliation, preparation of monthly financial statements, supervision of AP and payroll, coordinating with external auditors during the year end audit and maintenance of strong internal controls.
Minimum requirements include BS in Accounting or related, desire to earn a Controller role in 3-5 yrs., general ledger account reconciliation, month end close, at least some assisting with the preparation of monthly financial statements, strong systems skills, the willingness to experiment with AI to improve processes, strong interpersonal skills and strong excel skills.
Nonprofit accounting experience a plus.
The base salary range is $83,000 - $93,000 plus discretionary bonus when there is a surplus. Benefits include health, dental and vision insurance, very generous PTO and holidays and a 4% match on their 403b plan.
Hybrid wok schedule of 2-3 days from home once you are up and running.
