Original job description

Overview

This contract role keeps our client's CRM Analytics (CRMA) dashboards and Salesforce triage board running while they move reporting to Databricks. The company is leaning more on AI insights and a Databricks-based semantic layer, and their sales pipeline and dashboards need to align with that initiative. You will audit existing CRMA dashboards and data sources, work with stakeholders to determine what should be migrated, and partner with Engineering to build and harden Databricks-based reporting solutions. This engagement is expected to last approximately 4 months and will play a critical role in supporting sales and executive reporting while removing a key single point of failure.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Salesforce triage board by acknowledging and prioritizing new requests within 1 business day, resolving routine requests within 2 business days, and coordinating timelines with RevOps for larger initiatives.
  • Process account and opportunity changes on a weekly basis and document procedures to support knowledge transfer to a future backfill hire.
  • Maintain and support live Salesforce CRM Analytics (CRMA) dashboards and datasets, including monitoring refreshes, troubleshooting issues, and validating data quality.
  • Partner with IT and Engineering on KTLO initiatives, platform health checks, and operational support activities.
  • Audit existing CRMA dashboards and data sources and collaborate with stakeholders to determine migration priorities.
  • Ensure sales pipeline reporting and dashboards align with the organization's Databricks-based semantic layer and AI-driven reporting initiatives.
  • Build Databricks-based equivalents of existing dashboards in priority order.
  • Work closely with Engineering teams to harden reporting solutions and enable self-service analytics capabilities.
  • Investigate and resolve reporting discrepancies, data quality issues, and dashboard performance concerns.
  • Create and maintain documentation to ensure reporting processes and administrative tasks can be effectively transferred to other team members.

Required Qualifications

  • Hands-on Salesforce Administration experience.
  • Experience supporting and maintaining Salesforce CRM Analytics (CRMA) dashboards and datasets.
  • Experience building BI dashboards and reporting solutions.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and Databricks.
  • Ability to read and understand CRMA Recipes and SAQL.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working with business users, RevOps, IT, Engineering, and leadership teams.

Preferred Traits

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage and prioritize a triage backlog.
  • Clear communicator who proactively keeps stakeholders informed on status, timelines, and risks.
  • Collaborative team player who works effectively across Engineering, IT, and business organizations.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy and validation.
  • Process-minded individual who documents work thoroughly and enables smooth knowledge transfer.
