We are working with a data center that is searching for a Controller to run their Miami operations. In this role you will be responsible for rebuilding the current infrastructure. This role is ideal for a leader who thrives in an environment where you are tasked to rebuild the operations, recognizing that effort will lead them to grow into the CFO role, taking over responsibility for another data center location within the East Coast. Experience with project accounting and capital asset management, as well as familiarity with energy costs or utility billing, is helpful.

In this role you will be the sole contributor managing the entire accounting function alone while you rebuild the accounting staff. This position is perfect for an autonomous leader who handles both high-level strategy and day-to-day execution. The ideal candidate is a hands-on financial leader who is equally comfortable steering strategic financial planning and executing daily transactional accounting. You will have full ownership of the accounting ecosystem without direct reports, reporting directly to the VP. In this role you will own the close, invoice and vender management, as well as work with senior leadership to make recommendations to improve operations. You will also be tasked to rebuild the infrastructure within the accounting department.

This role is hybrid, 3 days onsite in their Miami facility and 2 days remote. 100% benefits covered for employee and family, plus healthy bonus. CPA is required.
