We are looking for a Recruiting Coordinator to join a growing team in Ohio. This contract-to-permanent opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys keeping the hiring process organized, moving, and compliant while partnering closely with recruiting and HR stakeholders. The position blends recruitment coordination with broader administrative support, making it a strong fit for someone who can manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage key hiring steps by preparing offers, arranging background screenings, coordinating drug tests, and supporting onboarding activities.
- Track employment documentation and follow up on outstanding compliance items to help ensure a smooth and timely hiring process.
- Provide recruiting support for hourly and skilled trades openings, including interview scheduling, candidate communication, and administrative coordination.
- Maintain accurate information within applicant tracking systems and related hiring records throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
- Partner with hiring managers, recruiters, and HR team members to keep searches progressing and communicate status updates clearly.
- Assist with office administrative tasks such as handling incoming mail, processing packages, and supporting day-to-day operational needs.
- Help screen applicants and support general recruiting workflows as needed to keep hiring activity organized and efficient.
- 3+ years of experience in recruiting coordination, HR support, talent acquisition administration, or a similar office-based role.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and follow-up items simultaneously.
- Experience supporting hiring activities such as interview scheduling, offer coordination, onboarding, or pre-employment screening.
- Comfortable communicating professionally with managers, leadership, candidates, and internal team members.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving environment and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and standard administrative office processes.
- Recruiting experience is helpful, particularly in corporate, hourly, or skilled trades environments, but is not required.
