Original job description
We are looking for an experienced Recruiter to support recruitment efforts for a range of behavioral health and social services positions. This contract opportunity is ideal for someone who can step into a busy environment, manage multiple searches at once, and build strong candidate pipelines with minimal ramp-up time. The role focuses on full-cycle recruiting for critical program and clinical talent while partnering closely with hiring teams to keep the process moving efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end recruitment activities for openings such as mental health clinicians, case managers, licensed program directors, program support staff, and residential services coordinators.
- Develop and maintain active sourcing strategies to identify suitable candidates through job boards, databases, networking, and direct outreach.
- Manage several open requisitions at the same time while keeping timelines organized and stakeholders informed of progress.
- Screen applicants, evaluate credentials, and present well-matched candidates to hiring managers for further consideration.
- Coordinate interviews and guide candidates through each stage of the recruitment process to deliver a smooth and positive experience.
- Partner with internal leaders to understand staffing needs, refine search criteria, and adjust recruiting strategies based on market response.
- Track candidate activity and requisition updates accurately within the applicant tracking system to support reporting and workflow consistency.
- Contribute to a fast-moving recruiting function by helping improve process efficiency and responding quickly to changing staffing priorities.
- Proven experience in full-cycle recruiting within a corporate, agency, or high-volume hiring environment.
- Ability to source talent effectively across multiple channels and build pipelines for hard-to-fill roles.
- Experience managing numerous active requisitions simultaneously in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong background partnering with hiring managers and maintaining clear communication throughout the recruitment process.
- Proficiency using an applicant tracking system and keeping recruiting records current and organized.
- Ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and begin contributing with limited onboarding.
- Coachable mindset with a willingness to take feedback and adjust approach as business needs evolve.
