The ideal candidate brings strong recruiting judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple searches in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of confidentiality.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end hiring activities from talent sourcing through offer stage and transition to onboarding for new hires.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to understand workforce priorities, align recruiting efforts, and provide insight on hiring plans.
  • Support recruitment across manufacturing, skilled trades, production, maintenance, warehouse, administrative, specialized, and leadership positions.
  • Create clear, compelling job advertisements and position summaries that reflect business needs and candidate expectations.
  • Build candidate pipelines using online platforms, employee referrals, networking, community partnerships, schools, workforce programs, and direct outreach.
  • Maintain consistent communication with applicants and hiring managers to ensure a smooth, informed, and responsive recruitment experience.
  • Coordinate and manage external recruiting vendors and staffing partners to support hiring goals effectively.
  • Track candidate activity, hiring progress, and recruiting performance data while protecting sensitive information and maintaining accurate records.
  • Share regular status updates, market feedback, and hiring recommendations with leadership to improve recruiting outcomes and support retention goals.
  • Travel as needed to company sites, hiring events, and career fairs, while remaining available for occasional recruiting needs outside standard business hours.
  • At least seven years of recruiting experience, including substantial work within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Demonstrated success hiring for skilled trades, production, technical, and management-level positions.
  • Background recruiting for functions such as accounting, finance, engineering, sales, supply chain, project management, operations, or comparable disciplines.
  • Strong skills in interviewing, candidate evaluation, communication, organization, and relationship management.
  • Ability to handle multiple openings simultaneously, set priorities effectively, and work independently in a remote environment.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, sourcing tools, Microsoft Office applications, and virtual meeting platforms.
  • Sound judgment in managing confidential information with discretion and care.
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.
