This contract opportunity is expected to last 60-90 days and is well suited for someone who remains calm under pressure, communicates clearly, and creates a welcoming experience for visitors. The ideal candidate will balance front-desk support, administrative accuracy, and compassionate assistance when responding to a wide range of public inquiries.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome visitors to the reception area, provide clear direction, and ensure each person is assisted in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Support individuals seeking services by answering questions, explaining next steps, and helping them navigate the intake process.
- Manage incoming inquiries in person and through email or other office channels, delivering timely and clear responses.
- Enter and update information in internal systems with a high level of accuracy while maintaining organized records.
- Handle sensitive or emotionally charged interactions with discretion, patience, and empathy in a public-facing setting.
- Coordinate routine front-desk and administrative tasks to keep daily operations running smoothly in a fast-paced environment.
- Use Microsoft Outlook and related office tools to monitor communications, schedule-related needs, and maintain workflow continuity.
- Participate in training to learn office procedures and internal systems required for the assignment.
- Demonstrated experience in reception, front-desk support, customer service, or administrative assistance.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse visitors and staff.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-volume environment while maintaining composure and sound judgment.
- Accurate data entry skills and close attention to detail when processing information and records.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and comfort using standard office technology.
- Dependable work habits, strong organization, and the ability to follow established procedures consistently.
- Detail-oriented demeanor with a patient, empathetic approach to assisting the public.
