We are looking for a RealPage Administrator to support and optimize critical database environments. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with hands-on experience managing SQL-based platforms, improving system reliability, and maintaining strong database performance. The selected candidate will work across administration, monitoring, and tuning activities to help ensure secure, stable, and efficient data operations in a contract position.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain database environments across Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, and MySQL platforms.
• Monitor database health, availability, and storage usage to support consistent system performance and uptime.
• Analyze workload behavior and implement tuning strategies to improve query execution and overall efficiency.
• Manage routine backup, recovery, and maintenance tasks to protect data integrity and support business continuity.
• Troubleshoot database issues, identify root causes, and resolve performance or access-related problems in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with technical teams to support application connectivity, database changes, and environment stability.
• Apply security controls, user permissions, and operational best practices to maintain compliant database operations.
• 3+ years of experience in database administration or a closely related role.
• Practical experience with Microsoft SQL Server in production environments.
• Working knowledge of Azure SQL Database administration and support.
• Experience managing MySQL databases, including routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Strong background in performance tuning, query optimization, and database monitoring.
• Solid understanding of backup, recovery, and database security practices.
• Ability to diagnose technical issues effectively and communicate solutions clearly.
