This contract position will focus on leasing support, resident services, and administrative coordination across a multi-property apartment portfolio. The ideal candidate will deliver attentive customer service, help maintain accurate documentation, and contribute to a positive experience for both prospective and current residents while following fair housing standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Review rental application packages for completeness and organize materials for property management approval, including income and supporting documentation checks.
  • Verify the accuracy of applicant records and confirm that lease files, tax forms, and related documents are properly completed before move-in.
  • Coordinate onboarding steps for incoming residents by collecting required payments, insurance information, and utility account details.
  • Welcome new residents by distributing keys and explaining community guidelines, move-in information, and essential policies.
  • Respond to resident inquiries regarding lease terms, billing matters, occupancy changes, transfers, and general account-related concerns.
  • Partner with the maintenance team to communicate with residents about service requests, unit access, vehicle movement, and other property-related follow-up items.
  • Help support occupancy and resident retention by providing attentive assistance to prospects and current tenants throughout the leasing lifecycle.
  • Maintain organized records and administrative workflows to support day-to-day property operations across multiple apartment communities.
  • At least 2 years of experience in apartment leasing, residential property administration, or real estate sales support.
  • Working knowledge of property management practices and resident-facing leasing processes.
  • Ability to review documents carefully and identify missing, inconsistent, or inaccurate information.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills for interacting with prospects, residents, and internal teams.
  • Familiarity with fair housing compliance and professionalism in handling confidential information.
  • Experience using Yardi Software or similar property management platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced, multi-property environment.
