Original job description
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager/Sr. Consultant to lead complex IT initiatives while partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver measurable business outcomes. This position is ideal for someone who is detail oriented and can balance strategic planning with hands-on execution in Agile environments. The successful candidate will guide project delivery, maintain stakeholder alignment, and use structured project management practices to keep priorities, timelines, and risks on track.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end planning and execution of IT projects, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives are achieved.
- Facilitate Agile Scrum ceremonies, support delivery teams, and remove obstacles that may impact project progress.
- Partner with business leaders, technical teams, and external stakeholders to define priorities, clarify requirements, and maintain alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project milestones, dependencies, and potential risks, then develop mitigation plans to keep initiatives moving forward.
- Use Atlassian Jira to track work, manage backlogs, report status, and provide visibility into team performance and deliverables.
- Prepare and present project updates, key decisions, and performance metrics to leadership and other stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement by refining project governance, delivery practices, and team collaboration methods.
- Support organizational or technology change efforts, including process updates or system-related transitions, as part of broader project responsibilities.
- Proven experience managing IT projects from initiation through completion in fast-paced business environments.
- Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum principles and the ability to apply them effectively across project teams.
- PMP certification or a comparable project management credential is required.
- Hands-on experience with Atlassian Jira for planning, tracking, and reporting project activities.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate stakeholders, and communicate clearly at all levels of an organization.
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies, including risk management, scheduling, and resource coordination.
- Ability to work independently while also leading collaborative, cross-functional teams toward shared goals.
