Project Manager

Consulting Project Manager - Location: Hybrid or Onsite (as required)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to assist with some critical IT projects.

The Project Manager will oversee all phases of the project lifecycle, serving as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, software vendors, and executive leadership. This individual must have a proven track record delivering complex enterprise software implementations on time and within budget while driving adoption and organizational change.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, budgets, and resource assignments.
• Coordinate activities among business stakeholders,program teams, software vendors, developers, and infrastructure resources.
• Facilitate project governance meetings, steering committees, and executive status reviews.
• Manage project scope, risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
• Ensure alignment between software functionality and business processes , compliance, and reporting.
• Oversee requirements gathering, business process mapping, and solution design activities.
• Coordinate system integration, data migration, testing, and deployment efforts.
• Drive User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production readiness activities.
• Develop communication strategies to promote stakeholder engagement and project adoption.
• Manage training, documentation, and organizational change management initiatives.
• Monitor vendor performance and contractual deliverables.
• Provide detailed project reporting and regular updates to executive leadership. Other duties as needed

The successful Project Manager will have:

• At least 3 years of experience managing enterprise software implementation projects in a project management capacity.
• Hands-on knowledge of project delivery approaches such as Agile, Waterfall, or blended methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and work effectively with third-party implementation partners.
• Experience overseeing system integration work, data migration planning, and deployment activities for complex platforms.
• Strong skills in project budgeting, risk control, issue management, and stakeholder communication.
• Ability to present project status, recommendations, and key decisions clearly to senior leadership.
• Familiarity with tools and practices related to IT project management, including Jira and Agile Scrum environments.
• PMP certification or a related project management credential is preferred, along with a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
