We are looking for a Plant Service Coordinator to join a manufacturing team in East Aurora, New York on a Contract basis. This position supports coordination across customer service, supply chain, and plant operations to help maintain accurate delivery commitments, manage order activity, and improve planning visibility for assigned products. The role is well suited for someone who is organized, responsive, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where collaboration and follow-through are essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate delivery-related updates for assigned plants and product lines, ensuring customer-facing teams receive timely and accurate information.
  • Partner with planners and customer service representatives to review requested ship dates, resolve exceptions, and escalate delivery concerns when needed.
  • Analyze order and delivery data to identify trends, highlight risks, and support better planning decisions.
  • Monitor performance factors that affect delivery results and contribute to actions that strengthen service levels.
  • Work closely with commercial and supply chain teams to support demand planning activities for key customers and assigned product groups.
  • Track open orders, blanket orders, quotations, and held transactions to improve order visibility and support effective order management.
  • Assist with monthly order pull-in activities to help the business align shipments with sales objectives.
  • Review open order reports, address past-due sales orders, and resolve fulfillment issues that may delay customer commitments.
  • Provide feedback on order entry and processing issues so teams can improve accuracy through training and process refinement.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource in plant-focused continuous improvement initiatives, including efforts related to operational efficiency and process optimization.
  • Experience in administrative coordination, customer service support, order management, or a similar operational role in a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
  • Strong ability to organize information, manage multiple priorities, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced setting.
  • Comfortable analyzing order activity, delivery status, and customer demand data to support decision-making.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across customer service, planning, operations, and commercial teams.
  • Proficiency with common administrative tasks such as scheduling, coordination, and responding to inbound inquiries.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving order or delivery issues.
  • Dependable work habits, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn new processes and systems.
