We are looking for a Pharmacy Care Technician to support medication adherence outreach and deliver high-quality service to members. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who is comfortable working independently, navigating several systems at once, and handling member interactions with care and consistency. The role combines pharmacy knowledge, call center support, and administrative accuracy to help patients stay on track with their medications.

Responsibilities:

  • Contact members to support medication adherence efforts, answer questions, and provide clear assistance over the phone with a customer-focused approach.
  • Manage daily tasks with minimal supervision while maintaining productivity, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through.
  • Use multiple computer applications at the same time to document interactions, review information, and complete required updates accurately.
  • Handle incoming and outbound communications in a detail-focused manner while building rapport and addressing routine pharmacy-related concerns.
  • Maintain complete and accurate records of member conversations, actions taken, and any required follow-up activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams as needed to help resolve issues that may affect member service or prescription adherence support.
  • Apply pharmacy technician knowledge to support members and ensure work is completed in alignment with established guidelines and licensing requirements.
  • Active Texas Pharmacy Technician license is required.
  • Active national Pharmacy Technician certification or license is required.
  • At least 6 months of call center experience is required.
  • Strong customer service and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Proficiency with computers and the ability to work across multiple software programs are required.
  • Ability to remain focused, organized, and productive with limited oversight is required.
  • Retail pharmacy experience is preferred.
  • Bilingual communication skills are a plus.
