  • Review timekeeping records to verify hours worked, overtime, meal period compliance, and other pay-related details before finalizing payroll.
  • Oversee employee payroll updates including new hires, separations, compensation changes, benefit deductions, and wage garnishments.
  • Maintain adherence to federal, multi-state, and California payroll laws, with particular attention to wage and hour requirements.
  • Investigate and resolve payroll variances, make necessary corrections, and coordinate final wage payments in accordance with legal timelines.
  • Prepare, organize, and retain payroll documentation while generating regular reports for internal stakeholders and audits.
  • Administer payroll and timekeeping platforms to support efficient processing and accurate workforce records.
  • Manage certified payroll submissions, prevailing wage reporting, and the review of classifications, wage determinations, and fringe benefit calculations.
  • Partner with HR and Finance on audits, employee data accuracy, onboarding and offboarding support, and responses to payroll compliance questions.
  • At least 5 years of payroll experience, including leadership responsibility for full-cycle processing.
