The role requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment when reviewing financial information, and a collaborative approach to maintaining smooth day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Examine client payroll records across multiple systems to confirm figures are correct, including tax jurisdiction details and balancing information before processing.
  • Audit billing documentation and related payroll support to ensure invoices are complete, accurate, and ready for release.
  • Complete final payroll processing tasks, produce checks, and ensure work is finished within required banking deadlines.
  • Close out invoicing activities, generate customer invoices, and verify timely distribution of billing documents.
  • Assemble payroll and invoice packages for customer delivery and coordinate shipment so materials arrive on schedule.
  • Reconcile payroll and billing results against accounting statements to identify discrepancies and maintain financial accuracy.
  • Provide support across departmental activities, including invoicing assistance and responsive customer service when questions arise.
  • Follow company policies and established procedures while contributing to an organized, efficient, and team-focused work environment.
  • Experience in payroll administration, billing, invoicing, or accounts payable support within a deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to review numerical data with precision and identify inconsistencies across payroll, billing, and accounting records.
  • Familiarity with payroll processing timelines, check production, and banking-related cutoff requirements.
  • Strong working knowledge of customer service practices and the ability to communicate clearly with clients and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in using multiple databases or business systems to validate information and complete transactions accurately.
  • Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage recurring tasks, shipment preparation, and documentation in a timely manner.
  • Commitment to accuracy, accountability, professionalism, and respectful collaboration in day-to-day work.
