Payroll Accountant | Oracle Experience Robert Half | Full-Time Engagement Professionals (FTEP) Location: Fort Worth, TX and surrounding areas (within a 30-mile radius) Employment Type: Full-Time, Salaried Robert Half is seeking an experienced Payroll Accountant with Oracle experience to join our Full-Time Engagement Professionals (FTEP) practice. This is a full-time, salaried opportunity with Robert Half, supporting a variety of client projects throughout Fort Worth and the surrounding areas within a 30-mile radius. Our FTEP professionals are permanent employees of Robert Half who support client engagements involving accounting operations, system implementations, reconciliations, process improvements, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform payroll and benefits reconciliations, ensuring accuracy between payroll systems and the general ledger.
• Reconcile payroll liabilities, benefits deductions, employer contributions, and related balance sheet accounts.
• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies, including issues arising from system conversions and implementations.
• Utilize Oracle to research transactions, validate payroll data, and support financial reporting.
• Prepare payroll-related journal entries, accruals, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Support payroll system implementations, post-go-live stabilization, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with Payroll, Benefits, HR, and Accounting teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end close, audit preparation, and financial reporting.
• Maintain accurate documentation and strengthen payroll accounting processes and internal controls.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll accounting or general ledger accounting experience.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle, preferably Oracle Cloud HCM or Oracle Fusion.
• Strong understanding of payroll accounting, benefits reconciliations, and general ledger transactions.
• Experience with payroll system implementations or post-go-live support preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Ability to commute to client locations within a 30-mile radius of Fort Worth, TX.
