The person in this role will serve as a key point of contact for patients while coordinating registration, scheduling, insurance verification, and payment collection with accuracy and professionalism. PLEASE NOTE: the positions available largely include rotating 12 hour shifts, sometimes overnight and including weekends.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and visitors in a courteous manner and create a welcoming check-in experience from arrival through departure.
  • Complete patient intake and registration activities, ensuring demographic, insurance, and account information is entered accurately.
  • Arrange appointments, confirm upcoming visits, and assist with schedule adjustments to support efficient patient access.
  • Verify medical coverage and benefits before services are provided and resolve basic eligibility questions when needed.
  • Collect co-pays and other patient payments, process transactions correctly, and help maintain balanced daily payment records.
  • Partner with clinical and administrative staff to keep patient movement organized and reduce delays throughout the day.
  • Respond to patient questions and concerns with professionalism, provide clear guidance, and escalate more complex issues appropriately.
  • Follow privacy standards and healthcare confidentiality requirements when handling patient records and financial information.
  • Experience in patient registration, front-desk healthcare support, any customer service/retail, or a similar medical administrative role.
  • Working knowledge of appointment scheduling, patient intake procedures, and insurance verification processes.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with patients, visitors, and internal teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when updating records, processing forms, and handling payments.

  • Basic proficiency with healthcare systems, electronic records, and standard office software.
  • Commitment to protecting confidential patient information and following established compliance guidelines.
