The role offers the opportunity to handle a broad mix of legal and administrative duties while working closely with attorneys and clients in a law firm environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft, revise, and proofread a wide range of legal documents for matters involving family law, litigation, real estate, and estate planning.
  • Maintain accurate case records, organize supporting materials, and ensure files remain current and easy to retrieve.
  • Perform legal and factual research to assist attorneys with case strategy, filings, and client matters.
  • Prepare discovery materials, coordinate document collection, and support attorneys through trial and hearing preparation.
  • Track court dates, filing deadlines, and case milestones to help keep matters moving on schedule.
  • Communicate with clients, courts, and outside parties clearly and effectively to gather information and provide updates.
  • Submit filings with the appropriate courts and agencies while confirming compliance with procedural requirements.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative assistance, including managing correspondence, dictation, and general law office support.
  • At least 5 years of paralegal experience, preferably within a law firm setting.
  • Demonstrated background supporting matters related to civil litigation, family law, real estate, or wills and estate planning.

  • Proficiency with case management software and the ability to maintain organized electronic and physical files.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high level of attention to detail.
