Network Technician Data Center

Robert Half is seeking Network Technicians to support client data center environments with installation, troubleshooting, cabling, and network infrastructure support.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot switches, routers, and network equipment
• Perform copper and fiber patching
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues
• Perform port checks, cable testing, and physical layer troubleshooting
• Replace failed network hardware and components
• Assist network engineers with deployments and infrastructure changes
• Document cabling, equipment, and network changes
• Respond to tickets and service requests

Qualifications

• Experience supporting network infrastructure
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, switches, routers, and basic networking concepts
• Experience with copper and/or fiber cabling
• Familiarity with Cisco, Juniper, Arista, or similar platforms
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills

CCNA-level knowledge is helpful but not always required.
