Network Security Administrator

We are seeking a hands-on IT Infrastructure and Security Administrator to support and secure the organization’s IT environment. This role will be responsible for network administration, cybersecurity, Microsoft 365 security, hosted server support, and the secure adoption of AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, and Microsoft Copilot.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in infrastructure and security, the ability to work independently, and a practical understanding of AI-related business risks. This person will also collaborate with a small IT team, recommend improvements to leadership, and provide occasional end-user support when needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including Ubiquiti equipment
• Strengthen security across networks, endpoints, hosted servers, and Microsoft 365
• Assess risks and support secure use of Claude, ChatGPT, and Microsoft Copilot
• Maintain two remotely hosted servers and related applications
• Recommend infrastructure and security improvements
• Support future cloud transitions and hosted application migrations
• Partner with IT support staff to resolve technical issues
• Provide occasional hands-on support for end-user equipment
• Document configurations, procedures, and changes
• Hands-on experience with network administration and IT security
• Experience securing and administering Microsoft 365
• Knowledge of server administration and hosted infrastructure
• Understanding of AI tools and related security considerations
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to work fully onsite

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Ubiquiti and Cloudflare
• Familiarity with Claude, ChatGPT, or Microsoft Copilot
• Experience with AI governance or usage guidelines
• Background supporting cloud migrations
• Familiarity with Sage/Timberline
