Network Engineer

We are seeking a Network Engineer to join a growing IT infrastructure team responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise network environments. This individual will play a key role in ensuring the stability, performance, and security of the organization's network infrastructure across multiple locations. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer who enjoys troubleshooting complex issues, supporting critical business operations, and driving network modernization initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN, and SD-WAN environments
• Configure and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless technologies
• Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity to ensure optimal operation
• Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity, routing, switching, and performance issues
• Implement and maintain network security controls, VPNs, and access management solutions
• Support cloud networking initiatives within Azure and/or AWS environments
• Partner with systems, security, and application teams on infrastructure projects
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, standards, and operational procedures
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide support during planned maintenance windows when needed

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering or network administration
• Strong knowledge of:
• Routing and Switching
• TCP/IP
• VLANs
• OSPF and BGP
• DNS and DHCP
• VPN technologies
• Experience with Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or similar networking platforms
• Hands-on experience with firewall administration and network security best practices
• Experience supporting multi-site enterprise environments
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Strong communication and documentation abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SD-WAN technologies
• Azure or AWS networking experience
• Network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, LogicMonitor, or ThousandEyes
• Experience with network automation tools including Python, Ansible, or Terraform
• Wireless networking experience
• Cisco CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet NSE, or equivalent certifications
