Original job description

We are looking for a Motion Graphic Designer to support a Contract assignment for a leading construction organization in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will produce a 30-second animated holiday card for employees and external audiences, translating an established creative brief into a compelling visual story. This opportunity is well suited for a designer who can work independently in a remote setting while maintaining consistency with brand standards and collaborating closely with communications and design stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and animate a short holiday video, delivering a high-quality final product that aligns with the approved concept and messaging.
  • Interpret provided creative direction, brand standards, and campaign objectives to develop motion assets without building a new concept from the ground up.
  • Partner with the Communications Manager and Lead Graphic Designer to refine visuals, pacing, and overall presentation throughout the project.
  • Use industry-standard design and editing tools to produce animation, transitions, typography, and visual enhancements for the final piece.
  • Incorporate stakeholder feedback efficiently and adjust motion elements to ensure the finished asset meets quality and timing expectations.
  • Organize project files and export deliverables in formats suitable for internal distribution and external client viewing.
  • Manage assigned work hours effectively while meeting deadlines for review cycles and final delivery in a remote environment.
  • Demonstrated experience developing motion graphics or animated video content for corporate or branded communications.
  • Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Adobe After Effects and video editing applications such as Premiere Pro.
  • Ability to design within established brand guidelines while creating engaging and visually cohesive content.
  • Solid understanding of animation principles, visual storytelling, typography, and composition.
  • Experience editing short-form video content and preparing final outputs for multiple audiences.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with creative and communications partners.
  • Portfolio showcasing relevant motion design work; exposure to 3D animation is advantageous.
