This contract-to-permanent opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming experience while keeping scheduling, patient communication, and front-desk operations running smoothly. The person in this role will help patients navigate appointments, insurance questions, and follow-up care while maintaining accurate records and attentive service throughout each interaction.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing patient calls, respond to pre-appointment questions, and guide conversations toward confirmed office visits when appropriate.
- Arrange appointments, send reminders, and confirm upcoming visits to help maintain an efficient daily schedule and a positive patient experience.
- Review insurance details, collect required forms, and prepare documentation so products and services are ready in time for scheduled appointments.
- Support patient check-in and front-desk activities while handling account information with discretion and in accordance with privacy and compliance standards.
- Explain service fees, available coverage, and payment choices, then organize follow-up visits or additional outpatient scheduling as needed.
- Contribute to quality and service goals by promoting best practices and encouraging satisfied patients to refer others to the practice.

- Working knowledge of patient scheduling, reception support, and check-in processes.
- Familiarity with insurance verification, billing support, and medical reimbursement procedures.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Comfortable communicating with patients about appointments, payments, and general service questions in a clear and detail-oriented manner.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and the ability to manage sensitive information accurately and confidentially.
