Original job description

We are looking for a Senior Marketing & Communications Specialist to join our team and support a growing healthcare technology business through events, communications, and sales-focused marketing initiatives. This position plays a central role in coordinating customer-facing programs, strengthening field enablement resources, and helping ensure marketing activities are consistent, effective, and aligned with business goals. The ideal candidate brings strong project management skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Organize and execute a range of commercial programs, including customer events, product demonstrations, site visits, engagement activities, and industry conferences.
  • Coordinate event logistics from planning through follow-up, including vendor communication, attendee management, promotional support, and onsite preparation when needed.
  • Collaborate with sales and clinical partners to shape event plans that support customer relationships, account priorities, and broader commercial objectives.
  • Develop and manage pre-event and post-event outreach efforts designed to increase participation, strengthen engagement, and encourage timely follow-up.
  • Monitor event performance by tracking leads, meetings, action items, and potential business opportunities generated through each program.
  • Act as a connection point across marketing, creative, sales, and clinical teams to keep customer-facing tools current, compliant, and easy for field teams to access.
  • Maintain an organized repository of approved collateral and sales materials so representatives can confidently use the latest versions.
  • Assist in creating tailored materials for customer presentations, evaluations, executive discussions, proposals, and post-meeting communications.
  • Draft, review, and refine external marketing communications and digital content while coordinating approvals with relevant stakeholders.
  • Travel domestically as needed to provide support at select trade shows and customer events during the year.
  • Experience supporting marketing campaigns, event programs, and customer-facing communications in a business environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines, details, and stakeholders at the same time.
  • Background in digital marketing and email campaign coordination.
  • Ability to write, edit, and proofread high-quality materials for external audiences.
  • Familiarity with developing or managing sales enablement content and marketing collateral.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud or similar creative and content development tools.
  • Effective collaboration skills and the ability to work across sales, clinical, legal, regulatory, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to travel domestically for key conferences, trade shows, or customer events as business needs require.
