Original job description

We are looking for a Marketing Manager to lead franchise development marketing efforts in Atlanta, Georgia. This role blends strategic planning with hands-on execution, helping shape messaging, improve candidate engagement, and strengthen sales enablement across the prospect journey. The ideal candidate brings strong marketing judgment, cross-functional collaboration skills, and the ability to translate data and market insights into effective programs, content, and events.

Responsibilities:

  • Shape integrated messaging frameworks with development leaders so communications stay consistent and effective across marketing, sales, and external channels.
  • Track prospect interactions throughout the franchise candidate journey, uncover friction points, and implement improvements that increase engagement and conversion.
  • Turn lead and candidate insights into targeted content plans, while measuring asset performance and refining materials based on results.
  • Build, update, and organize franchise sales materials, including collateral and a centralized library of current brand-approved resources.
  • Create tools and presentations that support real estate and site selection discussions with brokers, landlords, and other stakeholders.
  • Plan and deliver prospect-facing experiences such as Discovery Days, webinars, conferences, and related events designed to inform and convert potential franchise owners.
  • Partner with legal and brand teams to ensure all sales and marketing materials meet franchise compliance standards and reflect current brand positioning.
  • Oversee budget planning, spending forecasts, and external partner relationships to keep projects on schedule, within budget, and aligned with business goals.
  • Provide direction and quality oversight for team deliverables, while coaching direct reports and improving workflows, processes, and resource use.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing is preferred.
  • 5–7 years of broad marketing experience spanning areas such as advertising, public relations, digital, email, and social media.
  • Background in franchise development, franchise sales, or franchise-branded organizations is helpful, though strong learning agility is highly valued.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance multiple deadlines and priorities while maintaining a high standard of service and execution.
  • Comfortable moving between strategic planning and hands-on content creation, from developing presentations to guiding larger campaign direction.
  • Experience using performance data and market insights to optimize campaigns, content, and engagement efforts.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across leadership, legal, brand, sales, and external vendor teams.
  • Familiarity with B2B marketing, campaign planning, digital marketing, brand awareness initiatives, and email campaign execution.
