Original job description

Established law firm has an immediate opening for a Litigation Paralegal to support IP litigation matters. This role is ideal for a senior-level candidate who can step into ongoing casework with minimal direction and contribute immediately to cases. This Litigation Paralegal will focus on document review support, legal citation accuracy, case file organization, and coordination of materials needed for discovery and courtroom readiness for upcoming trials. This position is 100% remote so candidates based anywhere in the US are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day paralegal support across active litigation matters, integrating quickly into an established legal team.
  • Review legal filings and supporting documents for citation accuracy, Bluebook compliance, grammar, and overall quality before attorney use.
  • Organize and assemble records, exhibits, and case materials for discovery platforms and internal case files.
  • Prepare deposition materials using firm templates and assist with related case documentation.
  • Support the development of pre-trial submissions, including briefs, exhibit sets, and other materials needed for hearings or trial.
  • Maintain accurate matter documentation and help keep litigation files current, orderly, and accessible.
  • Coordinate with attorneys and legal staff to ensure deadlines and case support needs are met across multiple matters.
  • At least 5 years of paralegal experience, with substantial exposure to litigation matters.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a senior-level support capacity with limited oversight.
  • Experience with cite checking, Bluebook formatting, and proofreading legal materials.
  • Familiarity with case management software and electronic document organization tools.
  • Ability to prepare deposition-related materials and assist with drafting legal documentation.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a fast-paced workload during a short-term engagement.
