JIRA Specialist

JIRA Specialist (Contract | 3 Months) We are seeking a hands-on JIRA Specialist to optimize an existing post-migration JIRA environment and improve Agile processes across business and technology teams. This role will focus on workflow optimization, governance, reporting enhancements, and stakeholder alignment.

Responsibilities

• Assess and improve JIRA workflows, issue types, statuses, permissions, and configurations.
• Standardize processes for stories, tasks, bugs, priorities, severity levels, and sprint ownership.
• Enhance dashboards, boards, filters, and reporting to improve visibility and team accountability.
• Partner with business, IT, and vendor teams to align workflows and best practices.
• Document processes and provide knowledge transfer materials.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on JIRA administration and configuration experience.
• Strong understanding of Agile and sprint-based delivery methodologies.
• Experience optimizing existing JIRA environments in enterprise settings.
• Skilled in stakeholder management, process improvement, and documentation.
• Experience with JIRA Cloud, Confluence, Advanced Roadmaps, or Zephyr is a plus.
