Responsibilities:

  • Deliver first- and second-level support for computers, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other end-user equipment, resolving issues efficiently and professionally.
  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows 10 and Windows 11 systems to keep employee devices operating reliably.
  • Manage core Microsoft environments by handling account administration, group access, password support, and user permissions within Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
  • Prepare, install, and refresh workstations, software, and peripheral hardware for both new employees and existing staff.
  • Investigate and resolve connectivity problems involving wired networks, wireless access, and workstation communication issues.
  • Install and support IP-based cameras, surveillance hardware, and access control equipment as part of onsite security technology initiatives.
  • Perform low-voltage cabling tasks such as routing, labeling, terminating, and testing Cat5e and Cat6 cabling for new and existing network runs.
  • Build out and maintain structured cabling components including patch panels, network drops, and related infrastructure while verifying performance against standards.
  • Record technical findings, resolutions, device details, and infrastructure information to maintain accurate support and network documentation.
  • Partner with external vendors and internal stakeholders on equipment rollouts, office changes, and other infrastructure improvement projects.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on IT support experience in a business environment.
  • Practical experience supporting and troubleshooting Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems.
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory administration, including user setup, group management, and access control.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 applications and services such as Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
  • Hands-on background in installing or troubleshooting IP camera systems, access control devices, or related physical security technology.
  • Ability to pull, terminate, and test Cat5e and Cat6 cable in low-voltage or structured cabling environments.
  • Foundational understanding of networking concepts, including switches, routers, TCP/IP, and wireless connectivity.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on ladders when required for installations or service tasks.
