Inventory Clerk

We are looking for a dependable Inventory Clerk to support packaging and inventory-related tasks for a contract position in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This role is well suited for someone who is comfortable working on their feet, handling materials throughout the day, and maintaining organized workflow in a service-oriented environment. The ideal candidate can contribute to accurate sorting, packing, and preparation of boxed items for distribution or storage.

Responsibilities:

• Organize inventory items by category to ensure materials are sorted accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare items for shipment or storage by wrapping, packaging, and placing them into appropriate boxes.
• Handle key-related inventory with care to maintain order and prevent misplaced materials.
• Use packaging supplies and file boxes effectively to support daily operational needs.
• Inspect packaged items before completion to confirm they are secure and properly arranged.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area to support safe and productive operations.
• At least 1 year of experience in inventory, packaging, warehouse, or related support work.
• Ability to lift and move items weighing approximately 25 to 30 pounds.
• Capacity to remain standing for extended periods during the workday.
• Familiarity with packaging materials and the proper use of boxes for organizing items.
• Strong attention to detail when sorting, packing, and preparing inventory.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete repetitive tasks with consistency.
