Human Resources (HR) Generalist

Our client is seeking a Bilingual HR Generalist to support HR operations at their manufacturing facility in Yorkville, IL. This part-time onsite role (20–25 hours/week) is ideal for a hands-on HR professional who enjoys supporting employees across recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and HR administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day HR operations, including full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and new hire orientation
• Maintain compliant employee records and personnel files
• Answer employee questions on HR policies, procedures, and benefits
• Assist with workers’ compensation, leave of absence, and performance management
• Help administer HR programs, policies, and initiatives
• Keep org charts, project lists, and HR documentation current
• Partner with HR leadership on special projects and employee engagement events
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Working knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and compliance
• Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail
• Discretion with confidential information

Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
• 1+ years of HR experience
• SHRM or PHR a plus
