Human Resources (HR) Generalist

Position: HR Generalist Salary: $75K with flexibility DOE Location: On site, Jamestown, PA Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM

A growing manufacturing company is seeking a hands-on HR Generalist to serve as the primary HR resource for the organization. This role supports a primarily hourly workforce and is ideal for someone who can balance daily HR operations with key initiatives in recruiting, retention, and performance management.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage payroll, timekeeping, attendance, and employee records Lead recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and workforce planning efforts Support employee relations and serve as the main HR contact Administer benefits, compensation programs, and 401(k) Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws Continue developing and driving adoption of a formal performance management process Coordinate training and development initiatives Support HR processes in a DoD contractor environment

Qualifications:

Strong HR Generalist experience, ideally as a standalone HR professional Experience with Paychex highly preferred Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, or hourly workforces preferred Recruiting and retention experience strongly preferred Knowledge of payroll, benefits, employee relations, and compliance Hands-on, flexible, and comfortable working closely with employees and leadership on-site
