Responsibilities:

  • Direct the company’s human resources function across recruiting, employee relations, compensation, benefits administration, performance programs, training, compliance, and workforce planning.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the HR team to elevate service delivery, strengthen accountability, and support long-term departmental growth.
  • Create and carry out a talent acquisition strategy designed to attract candidates with relevant experience and improve retention across the business.
  • Work closely with senior leaders to evaluate current talent, identify capability gaps, and recommend actions that strengthen the organization.
  • Oversee HRIS-related initiatives, including implementation, optimization, and ongoing system management to support efficient people operations.
  • Guide payroll system implementation efforts or major payroll process enhancements to improve accuracy, consistency, and effectiveness.
  • Advance HR process improvements by refining workflows, enhancing reporting, and increasing operational efficiency across the function.
  • Advise leaders and managers on employee relations matters, performance concerns, and leadership development opportunities.
  • Ensure HR policies and practices align with applicable employment laws, regulatory requirements, and internal standards.
  • Proven experience leading a broad human resources function, ideally in a director-level role within a fast-paced business environment.
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations, compensation and benefits, HR administration, and employment law compliance.
  • Experience with HRIS implementation, system optimization, or related HR technology initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams while partnering effectively with executive leadership.
  • Background in performance management, leadership development, and organizational talent planning.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to support compensation analysis, interpret HR data, and improve reporting processes.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities with a track record of driving growth and operational improvement initiatives.
