Original job description
We are looking for a Hospitality Lead to oversee day-to-day service operations in a fast-moving, high-visibility workplace. This contract position is ideal for someone who combines hands-on leadership with a strong hospitality mindset and can maintain a detail-oriented experience across multiple floors. The role will guide a frontline support team, uphold workplace standards, and work closely with onsite leadership to keep service delivery organized, responsive, and consistent.
Responsibilities:
- Direct and support a team of eight office services team members, providing day-to-day leadership, coaching, and hands-on assistance as priorities shift.
- Monitor service delivery across six to seven floors, ensuring shared spaces, conference rooms, and pantry areas remain fully prepared and well maintained.
- Coordinate staffing coverage and daily assignments to keep operations running smoothly during higher-volume periods throughout the week.
- Step in to assist with room readiness, hospitality support, and general service needs whenever business demands increase.
- Partner with onsite managers and key stakeholders to keep expectations aligned and address operational needs in a timely manner.
- Help organize event setup and breakdown activities, making sure spaces are ready before meetings and restored efficiently afterward.
- Identify service gaps early, resolve issues before they affect the client experience, and escalate concerns when additional support is needed.
- Track tasks and operational details with accuracy, while contributing ideas that improve workflow, reporting, or service consistency.
- Demonstrated experience leading or supervising a service-oriented team in a structured environment.
- At least 1-2 years of hospitality experience with a clear understanding of service standards and guest-facing expectations.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume setting while balancing oversight and direct support.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to keep team members, managers, and stakeholders informed and aligned.
- Proven ability to train, coach, and hold team members accountable in a supportive and organized manner.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and execution.
- Comfortable using administrative tools such as spreadsheets and basic business documents or presentations.
- Experience in patient-facing support, registration, scheduling, or insurance verification is helpful for candidates coming from related service environments.
