Original job description

We are looking for an experienced and dependable Hospitality Associate-Event Support to provide daily office hospitality and meeting support in New York, New York. This Contract position is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-moving service environments and can deliver a detail-oriented experience in a corporate setting. The person in this role will help keep shared spaces guest-ready, support conference room needs, and assist with catering and beverage service across multiple floors.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare conference rooms for meetings and events, then restore each space promptly once sessions conclude.
  • Maintain pantry and beverage areas by cleaning equipment, refilling coffee and tea supplies, and keeping snacks and workplace essentials stocked.
  • Monitor inventory levels across hospitality stations and communicate replenishment needs before items run low.
  • Coordinate food and beverage deliveries for meetings, ensuring orders are set out accurately and on time.
  • Provide hands-on support for office events, including larger room arrangements, refresh setups, and post-event cleanup.
  • Travel between multiple floors to inspect service areas, address hospitality needs, and maintain a consistent presentation throughout the office.
  • Follow established room setup standards and adjust quickly to changes in meeting schedules or service priorities.
  • Work closely with teammates in a collaborative environment where shared coverage and responsiveness are essential during busy periods.
  • Experience in hospitality, food service, catering, restaurant operations, hotel service, or other high-volume customer-facing environments.
  • Ability to present professionally and interact confidently with employees, guests, and vendors in a corporate office setting.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple service areas and shifting priorities throughout the day.
  • Comfortable learning new procedures quickly, following instructions carefully, and asking questions when clarification is needed.
  • Reliable punctuality and the ability to stay aware of surroundings while moving efficiently through a fast-paced workplace.
  • Capable of supporting physically active work, including room setups, restocking supplies, and transporting catering items.
  • Background in office services tasks such as scanning, document handling, mailroom support, or multi-line phone coverage is a plus.
