Original job description
We are looking for a Hospitality Associate-Event Support team member with relevant experience and a detail-oriented approach to help maintain a welcoming, organized office experience. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-moving service environments and can confidently support meetings, pantry areas, and day-to-day hospitality needs across a busy corporate setting. The right person will bring a customer-focused approach, adapt quickly to changing priorities, and contribute to a collaborative team culture.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare meeting and conference spaces before events and return rooms to standard condition once sessions conclude.
- Oversee pantry and beverage stations by replenishing refreshments, monitoring supplies, and keeping equipment ready for daily use.
- Maintain coffee machines and beverage areas to ensure employees and guests have consistent access to clean, stocked service points.
- Coordinate food and catering deliveries, arrange refreshments for meetings, and provide on-site support during scheduled events.
- Assist with larger hospitality setups, post-event cleanup, and room resets across multiple office floors as business needs change.
- Track inventory levels for snacks, beverages, and workplace supplies, and alert the team when items need to be reordered.
- Support high-traffic service periods with urgency and professionalism while adjusting to shifting requests throughout the day.
- Work closely with teammates to cover multiple pantry locations and hospitality areas in a team-oriented office environment.
- Previous experience in hospitality, food service, catering, restaurant, hotel, or similar customer-facing environments is strongly preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume setting while maintaining a detail-oriented approach and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to follow instructions, ask clarifying questions, and respond to guest needs.
- Dependable attendance, punctuality, and the ability to stay organized during busy service periods.
- Comfort supporting a corporate workplace and presenting a detail-oriented, business-appropriate demeanor at all times.
- Physical ability to move quickly between floors, handle room setups, and manage stocked pantry and beverage areas.
- Experience with administrative support tasks such as scanning, document handling, mailroom support, or answering multi-line phone systems is a plus.
