This contract-to-permanent opportunity blends hands-on bookkeeping with financial coordination and executive-level support, making it ideal for someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. The person in this role will help keep financial operations organized, accurate, and responsive while partnering closely with leadership on a range of business matters.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Business Manager with day-to-day coordination, correspondence, and follow-through on client-related matters.
- Lead bookkeeping activities by maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with routine accounting tasks in QuickBooks.
- Review accounts payable activity and weekly financial reporting to help ensure completeness, accuracy, and timely delivery to clients.
- Guide and monitor the bookkeeping team's workload, checking work product before it is shared externally.
- Handle accounts receivable functions, bank reconciliations, and other core full-charge bookkeeping duties across multiple client accounts.
- Assist with property-related financial administration, including support for escrow activity, real estate coordination, and reporting tied to managed assets.
- Help organize information related to insurance, tax documentation, and estate planning needs in support of broader client business management services.
- Track open items, coordinate next steps, and maintain momentum on financial and administrative requests for high-net-worth clients with professionalism and discretion.
- Prior experience in bookkeeping, business management, banking, real estate, or a closely related field.
- Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks and a solid understanding of general accounting practices.
- Hands-on experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial record maintenance.
- Ability to interpret financial reports and identify issues requiring follow-up or correction.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines and shifting priorities.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with confidence working independently and supporting senior leadership.
- High level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive financial and personal information.
