Front-End Software Engineer React / TypeScript

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Build customer-facing features such as product search, shopping carts, account management, and checkout interfaces.
• Create reusable React components and contribute to scalable front-end design systems.
• Integrate RESTful APIs or GraphQL services to deliver dynamic application functionality.
• Improve page-loading performance, rendering efficiency, and Core Web Vitals across desktop and mobile devices.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product managers, and backend engineers to translate design specifications into production-ready features.
• Implement automated component, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Troubleshoot cross-browser compatibility issues and resolve production defects.
• Support A/B testing, feature flags, and performance monitoring to improve customer engagement.
• Maintain accessibility standards and follow secure front-end development practices.
• Participate in Agile sprint planning, technical discussions, and peer code reviews.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional front-end software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with React and modern JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, responsive layouts, and modern browser APIs.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with JSON data.
• Working knowledge of React hooks, component architecture, and state management.
• Familiarity with Git, pull requests, and collaborative development workflows.
• Experience writing automated tests using tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Playwright.
• Understanding of web performance optimization, accessibility, and cross-browser testing.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot technical issues and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
