- Assist with tax-related fund activities, including validation of reporting data, support for periodic fund distributions, and year-end tax reporting requirements
- Complete valuation oversight procedures and control reviews to assess reasonableness, flag exceptions, and help drive issue resolution
- Provide support for special projects tied to alternative investment products, including review of general partner notices, daily P&L reconciliation activity, and monitoring of unfunded commitments and credit facility usage
- Perform asset and cash reconciliation work, including researching discrepancies and helping resolve outstanding items
- Help prepare and maintain recurring fund reporting for both internal stakeholders and external audiences
- Assist in developing, analyzing, and interpreting financial metrics and operational reporting
- Contribute to process improvement efforts and special initiatives focused on improving efficiency, scalability, and internal controls
- Manage competing priorities in a hybrid schedule, working on site in Stamford Tuesday through Thursday and remotely on Monday and Friday
Qualifications and Core Strengths:
- Strong numerical and analytical ability paired with exceptional attention to accuracy and detail
- Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to work efficiently with complex data and reporting
- Solid knowledge of mutual fund accounting, including review of transactions, journal entries, and balance sheet components such as net income and capital activity

- Proven critical thinking and problem-solving skills, including the ability to assess issues, evaluate risk, identify root causes, and propose practical recommendations
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work proactively in a fast-moving environment
Qualifications and Experience:
