ERP Manager (Banner)

We are looking for an experienced ERP Manager to provide leadership for a broad range of technology services in Clinton, South Carolina for an IT consulting need. This Contract position will guide daily IT operations while supporting a complex Ellucian Banner environment and ensuring reliable service across infrastructure, applications, and end-user support. The role combines team leadership with practical technical involvement, making it well suited for someone who can direct priorities, resolve escalations, and partner with organizational leadership to strengthen technology delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Direct a multidisciplinary IT team of 8 covering support services, software development, systems administration, and network operations.
• Set daily priorities for the department, assign work effectively, and maintain accountability for service quality and operational performance.
• Administer and support the Ellucian Banner environment, serving as the primary escalation resource for complex system-related issues.
• Work closely with internal Banner-focused team members to maintain application reliability, troubleshoot problems, and improve support outcomes.
• Oversee core IT functions, including help desk activities, infrastructure maintenance, network availability, and business application support.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and performance management for IT staff while fostering a productive and service-oriented team culture.
• Partner with institutional leadership to align technology initiatives and support services with broader organizational objectives.
• Contribute hands-on technical assistance when necessary to address urgent issues, stabilize systems, or support critical projects.
• Support Banner-connected business processes, including selected general ledger functions and related operational needs.
• At least 5 years of experience in IT leadership, ERP management, or a closely related technology role.
• Proven background working with Ellucian Banner, with the ability to support administration, issue resolution, and ongoing application performance.
• Experience overseeing enterprise technology operations that may include help desk support, networking, infrastructure, and application services.
• Knowledge of Banner ERP functions and related business processes, including exposure to general ledger functionality and data reporting.
• Ability to manage staff performance, coach team members, and drive accountability across a technical department.
• Strong skills in application support, change management, and translating business needs into practical technology solutions.
• Familiarity with business systems documentation and enterprise application environments; experience in higher education is strongly preferred.
• Willingness to work onsite initially in Clinton, South Carolina, with preference for candidates available for regular onsite presence.
