Original job description

We are looking for an ERP Manager to lead the ongoing support, optimization, and cross-functional coordination of enterprise business systems in Kennesaw, Georgia. This role will serve as a key partner to operational and finance teams, helping resolve system challenges, improve workflows, and maintain reliable day-to-day application performance. The ideal candidate brings strong experience with ERP environments, a practical understanding of core business operations, and the ability to translate technical issues into clear solutions for end users.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily ERP system support by identifying issues, guiding resolution efforts, and ensuring business users receive timely assistance across core application functions.
  • Partner with teams involved in finance, supply chain, purchasing, warehousing, and reporting to improve system usage and align processes with operational needs.
  • Investigate problems related to configuration, transactional data, user permissions, and application behavior, then drive corrective actions through completion.
  • Coordinate work with outside vendors, managed service providers, implementation specialists, and software partners to support system stability and enhancement efforts.
  • Lead or contribute to ERP implementation phases, upgrades, post-launch stabilization activities, and related business application improvements as needed.
  • Document system issues, support procedures, and business requirements clearly so both technical stakeholders and non-technical users can work effectively.
  • Help manage change across business applications by prioritizing requests, balancing competing needs, and supporting smooth adoption of updated processes or tools.
  • Support reporting and data visibility initiatives by collaborating with teams that rely on dashboards, extracts, and operational insights for decision-making.
  • At least 5 years of experience supporting ERP platforms, business systems, IT operations, systems analysis, or a closely related function.
  • Hands-on involvement with an ERP rollout, migration, upgrade, production launch, or stabilization effort after deployment.
  • Solid understanding of business workflows such as order processing, procurement, inventory control, accounts payable, accounts receivable, warehouse activity, and operational reporting.
  • Proven ability to diagnose and resolve issues involving process flow, system setup, data accuracy, access controls, and end-user experience.
  • Experience working with third-party consultants, service providers, software vendors, or implementation partners in a business systems environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and support users with professionalism and patience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Business, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with platforms such as Epicor, Oracle NetSuite, Acumatica, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar ERP applications is preferred.
