Entry Level Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Entry-Level Accountant for a contract opportunity with our client. This role is ideal for a recent accounting graduate or an early-career professional looking to build hands-on experience in a fast-paced finance environment. The Entry-Level Accountant will support day-to-day accounting operations, help maintain accurate financial records, and assist with reporting and reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
• Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger records
• Support month-end and year-end close activities
• Reconcile bank statements and account balances
• Review financial data for accuracy and completeness
• Help maintain accounting controls and compliance with company procedures
• Assist with payroll-related accounting support, as needed
• Generate reports and support the accounting team with special projects
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• Internship, entry-level accounting experience, or relevant coursework is a plus
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle NetSuite, or Microsoft D365 is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
