We are looking for an Enterprise Solutions Engineer to help strengthen and advance enterprise collaboration and AI platforms in Houston TX. This Long-term Contract position focuses on administering, securing, and improving Microsoft 365 and supported AI environments so they remain reliable, compliant, and scalable. The role works across platform governance, operational support, and AI enablement while partnering with stakeholders to drive adoption and manage complex escalations.
Responsibilities:
- Strengthen governance standards and operational controls across Microsoft 365 and enterprise AI platforms to support secure, consistent usage.
- Design and refine workflows using AvePoint and native Microsoft capabilities to improve oversight, automation, and lifecycle management.
- Administer and enhance Microsoft Purview capabilities, including retention policies, sensitivity labeling, insider risk controls, and broader data governance practices.
- Deliver advanced support for escalated issues involving SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Entra ID, Purview, Power Platform, AvePoint, and approved AI solutions.
- Manage AI platform administration activities such as configuration, access governance, usage controls, and issue resolution.
- Evaluate platform health and workspace quality, then implement improvements that reduce unnecessary sprawl and improve user experience.
- Coordinate communication and rollout efforts for new platform features, governance updates, and AI-related capabilities across distributed teams.
- Partner with regional and global stakeholders to address governance exceptions, access concerns, and consistency in platform practices.
- Create and monitor dashboards and reports that measure adoption, usage trends, governance performance, risk indicators, and AI activity.
- Provide leadership with clear analysis and practical recommendations based on operational data and governance insights.
- 3–5 years of experience supporting Microsoft 365, enterprise collaboration platforms, or governance-focused technology environments.
- Hands-on expertise with Microsoft 365 Enterprise services, including SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Purview, including information protection, retention, and compliance-related administration.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform and its role in enterprise workflow or platform enablement.
- Familiarity with AvePoint tools for governance, administration, or lifecycle management.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical and policy-related issues at an advanced support level.
- Strong communication and change management skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Experience producing dashboards, usage reporting, and data-based recommendations for operational or governance decisions.
