Original job description

We are seeking an Ecommerce Experience Specialist to support the ongoing growth and optimization of our ecommerce business. This role will be responsible for improving the online customer experience, supporting website enhancements, optimizing product and landing pages, and partnering with creative, marketing, and development teams to drive engagement and conversion. The ideal candidate combines ecommerce knowledge, website analytics, customer journey optimization, and UX/UI best practices to create seamless online shopping experiences. This position is focused on business results and customer experience, not pure visual design.

Responsibilities

  • Support and optimize the ecommerce website experience, ensuring a seamless customer journey from product discovery through conversion.
  • Identify UX/UI improvement opportunities and create wireframes, user flows, and recommendations that enhance usability and engagement.
  • Partner with the Senior Graphic Designer, Junior Graphic Designer, and website stakeholders to implement customer-focused digital experiences.
  • Analyze website performance, customer behavior, and conversion data to identify opportunities for optimization and growth.
  • Improve site navigation, landing pages, product pages, and overall ecommerce user experience.
  • Support ongoing ecommerce initiatives, website enhancements, and digital growth projects.
  • Collaborate with marketing and leadership teams to ensure consistent brand messaging across digital channels.
  • Support future initiatives involving CRM implementation, analytics improvements, and expansion into new customer segments and channels.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to align digital experiences with broader business objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement of the website experience to support revenue growth, customer engagement, and long-term ecommerce strategy.
  • 3+ years of experience supporting ecommerce websites or digital customer experiences.
  • Experience working with Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce, or similar ecommerce platforms.
  • Understanding of ecommerce best practices and online customer behavior.
  • Experience using Google Analytics and other website performance tools.
  • Knowledge of UX/UI fundamentals and customer journey optimization.
  • Ability to work across marketing, creative, and technical teams.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
