Our client, a growing mechanical services company in the Hartford area, is seeking a Dispatch Operations Manager to lead a centralized team and drive day-to-day operational excellence. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on leader with strong dispatch, scheduling, and team management experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of 5-8 individuals
• Oversee daily operations including technician scheduling, customer communication, work orders and services
• Develop and improve standard operating procedures, workflows, and best practices
• Monitor and report on key operational metrics including technician utilization, response times, drive time, and work order status
• Partner across the organization to maintain consistent processes and deliver exceptional customer service

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience in dispatch, service operations, field service, logistics, or a similar environment
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage change, and improve performance metrics
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Mechanical services industry experience is a plus

Ideal Experience:

• Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred
• 5+ years of experience in customer service, account management, or related role
• 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience( you will oversee a small team)
• Experience in a service-based industry such as facilities, mechanical, HVAC, or related environments
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
